According to authorities, the Utah man lost control of his vehicle and drove across the median on I-15 near Clancy. The vehicle rolled multiple times and stopped on a guardrail. The man was pronounced dead on the scene from severe head injuries.
Elderly pedestrian woman hit by car. An 82-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle as she was trying to cross the street to get her mail. The woman was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries, she is in stable condition. According to authorities, the accident happened at 11:00 a.m. when a 32 year-old-driver was going approximately 30-35 mph in a 25 mile an hour speed zone.
Pamela Mangen of Billings died in head on crash. Fifty-five year old Pamela Mangen died in a head on collision with a semi-truck. Mangen was heading the wrong way on I-90 at around 11:00 p.m. near Laurel. According to authorities, the semi-truck was headed eastbound and went to pass another vehicle and did not see Mangen’s car coming. By the time emergency crews arrived, both vehicles were engulfed in flames. The 50 year old semi-truck and his passenger were uninjured. Mangen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pedestrian Killed while trying to cross I-90. A North Dakota man is dead after trying to cross I-90 south of Hardin. According to authorities, the driver of a tractor trailer notice a figure on the roadway at about 9:30 pm. When the driver realized it was a man, he braked and swerved, but the 48-year old pedestrian continued to walk into the side of the trailer. The pedestrian appeared to be intoxicated and was pronounced dead at the scene.
